President and Owner
Jeff Bonnema has been in the commercial construction and specialty fire door industry for over 35 years. His vast experience includes installation, project management, architectural design and development, accounting, product development, contract negotiations, and business leadership.
Vice President
Stacy joined the Door Systems team in 2012 as the Office Manager. Bringing in over 25 years of construction experience, she moved up the company ladder to VP of Operations and then ultimately Vice President, overseeing all business operations.
Controller
Barbara graduated from California State University Fullerton in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with emphasis on Advertising and has a minor in Art. She worked for Ralphs Grocery Company for 12 years as Public Relations Coordinator and Advertising Coordinator in the Marketing Department.
Operations Manager
Mario Martinez has been in the commercial door industry for well over 2 decades, beginning his journey as an apprentice and becoming a journeyman/foreman with the Carpenters Union. In 2015 Mario joined Door Systems as an estimator and is currently the Operations Manager.
Senior Engineer/Purchaser
Bringing over 10 years of experience to the team, Phil joined Door Systems as an estimator in 2016 and assumed his current position in 2017. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management, and has an extensive background in drafting, estimating, customer service, ordering, and management.
Director of Design and Development
Sal Perez brings almost two decades of construction experience from multiple disciplines. He graduated as valedictorian of his class in 2014 and holds a degree in Drafting and Design Technologies along with being certified in Construction Project Management.

Jeff founded Door Systems in 2005, focusing on five core principles: Culture – Integrity – Growth – Focus – Productivity. Based on his vision and leadership, Door Systems has grown into a national leader in the Specialty Fire Door industry.
As President of Door Systems, Jeff puts a high emphasis on team building, customer relations and providing innovative fire protection solutions to the building industry.
In his free time Jeff enjoys golfing whenever possible, traveling to new places, doing anything active outdoors, going to Angel games and high school football games to watch his alma mater Servite High School play.
Vice President

Stacy’s background includes all facets of construction from residential to commercial. Prior to Door Systems she ran a general contracting company for over 10 years. This has given her vast experience and knowledge working with subcontractors, architects, dealers, suppliers, customers, and employees in all areas of the construction industry.
As Vice President of Door Systems, Stacy puts a high emphasis on the company’s core values: Culture, Integrity, Growth, Focus and Production. She is steadfast with her beliefs in a team environment which has contributed to the success and growth of Door Systems.
In her free time, Stacy is with family and friends. More times than not, she will be out hiking, enjoying the beach, Disneyland or cheering on women’s soccer, the Angels and the Dallas Cowboys.
Director of Design and Development

Sal joined Door Systems in 2015 as an estimator and immediately fell in love with training other team members to build what is now our Estimating Department. As Director of Design & Development, Sal is focused on working with Architects, Builders, and Developers to educate them on the importance of Fire Life Safety.
Enthusiastic about being an Education Provider for AIA, CSI, and ICC, he often speaks to audiences across multiple platforms.
His curiosity for fire life safety started at 18 years old with a brief career as an EMT for CARE Ambulance. This experience prepared him for the role he plays today as the in-house specifications writer and designer of fire life safety products for Door Systems.
As an avid outdoors-man, Sal’s favorite pass time is camping and exploring new waterfall hikes with his son and beautiful wife. When not lost in the wilderness you can find Sal in urban forests doing videography with his aerial drone.
Operations Manager
Mario Martinez has been in the commercial door industry for well over 2 decades, beginning his journey as an apprentice and becoming a journeyman/foreman with the Carpenters Union. In 2015 Mario joined Door Systems as an estimator and is currently the Operations Manager.
Mario’s experience and credentials include field installation, foreman/supervisor, fire door inspector (IFDIA), California Society for Healthcare Engineering, Inc. (CSHE), estimating and development, project management, aftermarket sales, and service.
In his position as Operations Manager, Mario has multiple roles overseeing the operations department which includes the installation division, service department, national dealer training and technical support.
Mario has built a strong foundation in managing operations. His knowledge and commitment have helped to build a strong team that maintains and provides exceptional customer support.
As a former Rialto High School football and baseball coach, Mario is an avid sports enthusiast. He and his wife enjoy watching their kids play sports and perform in theater.
Senior Engineer/Purchaser
Bringing over 10 years of experience to the team, Phil joined Door Systems as an estimator in 2016 and assumed his current position in 2017. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Project Management, and has an extensive background in drafting, estimating, customer service, ordering, and management.
Phil and his team assist clientele with project submittals and material procurement, providing excellent service and ensuring material delivery in a timely manner.
Born and raised in Chicago, Phil is an avid Cubs fan, and was lucky enough to attend the 2016 World Series. Other hobbies include exercising, golfing, cars, motorcycles, and spending time with his family and dog, Koa.
Controller

Barbara began working in the construction industry with Door Systems, Inc. in 2005 as Controller and oversees Accounts Payables and Payroll. She also understands the importance of providing a positive work culture and helps plan company events and getaways.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family including Finn, the Frenchie. She also enjoys traveling and spending time on the golf course.
